This week on The Seen, we featured Galerie Gmurzynska’s exhibition by the young New York based artist, Scott Campbell. EXPO CHICAGO is proud to present Galerie Gmurzynska as an exhibiting gallery from Switzerland for our September debut.

Men’s Book Chicago published an article on Tony Karman entitled The Visionary. The Visionary reveals the man behind Chicago’s new contemporary art fair that promises to put Chicago back on top of the art world.

Next, we explored Hearth + Shelf, a local event series that asks Chicagoans to open up their homes to talk about their personal book collections. One evening a month, a host selects a casual theme and a stack of books to share with an intimate audience from the comfort of their living room.

Urban Life, Collected – Official blog for The Lofts at Roosevelt Collection

Once again, it was a busy week for Roosevelt Collection’s social media program. This week on Urban Life, Collected, they featured a Bloomspot special for Waffles, a South Loop breakfast gem. In addition, The Lofts continued to keep residents updated with renovation details for the property as the management team relocates the workout room and lobby. Finally, Roosevelt Collection published a feature story on Optimo Hat Co., a famous fine hat making business in the South Loop.

As for Twitter, Roosevelt Collection hosted a contest for followers to win two free movie tickets to Showplace Icon Theater. Facebook also has exciting news this week as The Lofts officially switched over to the new Timeline layout. See the bold new cover photo we designed here.

The residential brand continues to experiment with new social media tools through platforms like Pinterest. This week, Otherwise reported about the importance of social sharing for a residential brand like Roosevelt Collection.

The showcase will feature designers from around the world, each to create a unique, ultra-luxury residence in their own distinctive style. Our interview with Samantha Todhunter explored her background, inspiration and her relaxed style, which is both contemporary and classic.

On Stay Gorgeous this week, Salon Buzz featured the Meg Ryan shag as one of the most popular hairstyles in history. Profiling the hairstyle from its origins to its modern day variations, the post captures the versatility of the shag.

For Facebook, Salon Buzz posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the salon’s NBC segment on spring hair trends. The hair models sported the retro faux bob, the side part and the French twist.
