As Stay Gorgeous embraces those who are ambassadors of a gorgeous lifestyle, the blog this week featured an interview with Corri McFadden, a long-standing Salon Buzz client who owns eDrop-Off, a luxury consignment business. The interview discussed how eDrop-Off helps others stay gorgeous, as well as her thoughts on doing VH1′s new reality show House of Consignment.
This week on The Seen, we published an interview with Chicago artist Caroline Carlsmith. Carlsmith’s recent work includes drawing 45 life-size Calamus plants, based on Walt Whitman’s poems from Leaves of Grass (1860), and a project titled 100 Days of Kimbo Slice.
Next, we featured two exhibitions on view at Annely Juda Fine Art. A London gallery exhibiting at EXPO CHICAGO’s September debut, Annely Juda presents exhibitions by Roger Ackling and Peter Kalkhof. The Seen also featured the Museum of Contemporary Photography’s opening show Survival Techniques. Written by an Assistant Curator from MoCP, this guest post provides a unique look at conceiving and organizing the show.
Finally, we published a post on a series of NYC gallery visits. These incredible shows range from Ryan McNamara at Elizabeth Dee, to Polly Apfelbaum at D’Amelio Gallery and Franklin Evans at Sue Scott Gallery.
This week on the blog, it was all about the residents. The Roosevelt Collection team wrote about two upcoming resident events that will be hosted at The Lofts. As tax season comes to an end, South Loop’s Fitness Formula will provide 10-minute complimentary massages on Sunday, April 15 to help relax residents. In addition, the management team at Roosevelt Collection teamed up with Weather Mark Tavern to host a resident social with complimentary appetizers and drinks.
Furthermore, we continued to unveil the faces of Roosevelt Collection by featuring a Service Spotlight post on Scott Thielbar, the Assistant Manager at The Lofts. Finally, Dan McCaffery gave residents a development update on the property.
