Urban Life, Collected  Official blog for The Lofts at Roosevelt Collection

This week on the blog, we paid close attention to South Loop activities, featuring a free tour of South Loop’s Whole Foods with Healthy Eating Specialist to help educate the community about healthy eating habits.

In addition, we shared info with the South Loop about the annual opportunity to Bike the Drive, held this year on Sunday, May 27, 2012 starting at 5:30 AM. What a treat for bicyclists to have beautiful Lake Shore Drive all to themselves! All Bike The Drive proceeds benefit the Active Transportation Alliance, Chicagoland’s voice for better biking, walking and transit.

With the holiday weekend approaching, we wanted to provide our residents with plenty of opportunities for their three-day break, so we developed a guide of the Top Ten Things to do Memorial Day Weekend.

Stay tuned for Roosevelt Collection and South Loop happenings on Facebook and Twitter. If you’re looking for something to do in the city or need a little inspiration, follow The Lofts on Foursquare and Pinterest.
