Once again, it’s been a very exciting week for the Roosevelt Collection social media program. This week, our blog posts focused on residential opportunities in the South Loop. First, we posted a piece on a potential volunteer service for the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle at the end of March. A second post informed readers about the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day Parade and where you can get the best views of watching the Chicago River being dyed green. Finally, a third post featured a Neighborhood Guide to the Ma & I Sushi Bar.
Last but certainly not least, Roosevelt Collection joined the Pinterest world this week with a brand page to further showcase the South Loop lifestyle. Twelve boards were initially created to display different sources of visual inspiration from the Roosevelt Collection team.
On Stay Gorgeous, Salon Buzz stylist and educator Erin Ahern offered her insights on choosing the right hairstyle. As a continuation of Stay Gorgeous’ “Creating the Right Look” series, Erin described the different types of hair length, cut or texture that fit best for different face shapes.
This week on The Seen, we featured a piece on Navy Pier, the home for EXPO CHICAGO’s September debut. As Navy Pier approaches its centennial in 2016, it reimagines its potential through a contemporary lens in the new project, The Centennial Vision. The new vision for Navy Pier is underway in a search for a Pierscape design team. EXPO CHICAGO is proud to take the first step in presenting the bright future for this world-class landmark.
The Seen also made the exciting announcement for IN/SITU, a key component of the fair’s innovative artistic programming. IN/SITU provides the opportunity for exhibitors to showcase large-scale installations, site-specific and performative works by select international artists. Situated throughout EXPO CHICAGO’s expansive floor, IN/SITU will provide a dynamic itinerary that connects various points of interest throughout EXPO CHICAGO.
This week on Simply Magnificent, we spotlighted The Residences’ upcoming event, Simply Magnificent: A Showcase of Homes. In April, Chicago’s first interior design showcase will debut at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Chicago. The showcase will feature designers from around the world, each to create a unique, ultra-luxury residence in their own distinctive style
Simply Magnificent also featured the current exhibitions at the Chicago Architecture Foundation. The Navy Pier Competition Exhibition presents the projects of five finalists competing to redesign Navy Pier’s public spaces. This exhibition showcases the finalists’ designs before the announcement of the winner. Chicago Model is a 320-square-foot model of downtown, the only accurate and up-to-date model of the city.
Stay tuned for more information on our upcoming event, Simply Magnificent: A Showcase of Homes.
